Hope you're having fun playing ÜberSoldier. Just never actually find myself sitting down to it over other games. Plus despite my apprehension to the genre Jade Empire is both a WRPG and Bioware game I've been meaning to get around to for several years now. Seems much more like something I'd enjoy since it's a more action orientated WRPG and like I said I did like Fable 1 a lot. And so when my backlog of to play is already massive it's easy to just let them keep passing me by. In general most recent WRPGs I've had any real exposure to or awareness of often are hybrids with other genres I'm not massive on, like Mass Effect and shooting. Admittedly I know I'd barely started the game, but the Mako tank really did hurt it for me and I had a lot of other stuff on my to play list I was happy to move onto. If I'd loved the game up until the Mako tank I'd have just gritted through it, but where I'd got to it was mostly shooting gameplay that doesn't resonate with me much and there hadn't been anything else about the game up to that point to grab me. And while Mako tank was the main reason I put the Mass Effect down and ended up not coming back to it, it wasn't the only reason. Well yeah, like I said, Mass Effect was one of the reasons, not the soul reason though. Everyone should try it.ĭust:An Elysian Tail (Metroidvania Style)Īnyway that give you a start for stuff to look at. Shovel Knight (Same plays kinda of like ducktales)īastion (you did not have it listed and everyone should play this)Ĭloudbuilt (think Mirrors Edge+Sonic the Hedgehog+Mega Man with speed running)ĭeus Ex Game of the Year with new Vision Mod. Tex Murphy: Tesla Effect (a new full motion video game)Įterium (plays like the old wing commanders) Valdis Story:Abyssal City( a metriodvania game) Also be warned I like retro style games.Ĭonversion (sequel to portal prequel to portal 2) I just listed them becuase I think there better on PC or just plan don't know. ![]() But I will try to suggest a few games to you. They only look at big box games.Īlso not to be mean but you kind of sound like you have your mind made up already. I would start by stop going to sites like IGN. And if you want something different to play and try you should (just like the rest of us) dig and find game that you like. I feel Logan's video should be looked as educational and just that really. Most of what you are listing is from japan.

![]() Parents can set time limits on the app by using the app's sleep mode, which turns access off at a set time each day. "I also believe every child needs guidance as to what's helpful and not helpful to engage with," Healy tells Romper. "Following the technical issue, we looked at ways to strengthen parent controls and visibility and introduced new features in the Parent Dashboard in February."Īpps like Messenger Kids can open your child up to an entirely new world of online communication, and parents should be direct with their kids about their expectations and boundaries. "We felt it was important to make sure parents knew what happened so they could talk to their children about online safety," a Facebook representative confirmed to Romper. Facebook addressed the glitch with parents in a message and fixed the privacy flaw within the app, The Verge reported. "We regularly consult with child development experts, parents, and safety experts on new features, and talked to those key stakeholders about these updates while we built them."Īnother concern about Messenger Kids is a known hiccup within the app in July 2019 that allowed kids to add secondary friends, or friends of friends, to a group chat setting without their parents' approval of those friends. "We built Messenger Kids after talking to thousands of parents and parenting experts to give kids and parents an age-appropriate, parentally-supervised platform for messaging friends and family," a Facebook representative tells Romper. The site's review expressed concern that this could lead to increased social media use and impact a child's health and well-being. Basically, the data collected when your kids use the app can be used to create targeted ads and features later on if they sign up for Facebook or Instagram. The media group cites Facebook's data collection as the main issue within the app for parents to consider. Anything going on that promotes bullying, cursing, or fear-inducing anxiety needs to stop, but your child needs to foster healthy friendships."Īlthough the Messenger Kids app is intended for kids ages 6 to 12, media experts at Common Sense Media have rated the app best for ages 13 and up, and Parent reviews on Common Sense Media rated the app appropriate for kids ages 9 and older. "You can always monitor conversations and review them. "Only approve children you have met in person or that your child promises is a positive influence," Healy tells Romper. "Stay engaged, informed, and observant so you can emotionally help and coach your child," she says. tells Romper that parents should also pay attention to how their kids feel and act after their interactions within the app. Parenting coach and author of The Emotionally Healthy Child, Maureen Healy, PhD. ![]() "Having a monitoring service like Bark installed on kids’ devices can give parents the extra confidence they need (especially right now) by doing a lot of the work for them and only alerting them to issues of concern," she tells Romper. Another important safety feature of the app ensures that kids cannot delete messages, so parents can actively monitor their kids' complete conversations.Īlthough Messenger Kids allows parents to monitor their child's conversations, Jordan says an extra layer of protection can be helpful in terms of screen time management. Messenger Kids will generate a private code kids can share with their friends if they want to connect with each other in the app, but parents must approve these contacts before they can be added to the contact list. To use Messenger Kids, parents must connect the app to their personal Facebook account (kids do not need a Facebook account to use the app, as users must be at least 13 years old). She also recommends making sure the apps your kids use are appropriate, and that you're educated in data tracking, who your kids interact with, and in-app marketing tactics "to avoid unwanted purchases made by cyber-savvy kids." "Not all apps require a minimum age, so parents should look into each app their kids are using," Jordan says. Titania Jordan, Chief Parenting Officer at Bark, an award-winning monitoring service that helps parents keep kids safe online, tells Romper that although messaging apps can be fun for kids, parents should be paying attention, too. If you decide to let your kids use the app, experts recommend paying close attention to who your child interacts with and what they talk about. Kids can also connect with the friends that they're used to seeing at school every day. With Messenger Kids, kids can video chat and send messages, emojis, and stickers to stay in touch. One app that can help keep kids in touch with loved ones is Messenger Kids on Facebook, but, like all technology, there are pros and cons each parent will need to weigh to decide if the app is appropriate for their kids. Keeping kids connected with friends and family over long distances can be tough. ![]() (Streamline Moderne, sometimes known as Art Moderne, was a phenomenon largely of the 1930s, post– Art Nouveau.)Īrt Deco textile designers employed dazzling floral motifs and vivid colors, and while Art Deco furniture makers respected the dark woods and modern metals with which they worked, they frequently incorporated decorative embellishments such as exotic animal hides as well as veneers in their seating, case pieces, living room sets and bedroom furniture. This is particularly true of American Art Deco, which is also called Streamline Moderne or Machine Age design. “Art Deco design” is often used broadly, to describe the work of creators in associated or ancillary styles. ![]() Original Metroid and Metroid II especially have aged really badly and have been surpassed by their remakes. The idea behind the story (of a corrupt Galactic Federation being as bad as the Space Pirates) did have potential but was let down by Sakamoto's awful writing. It was a good game to play (apart from the first person sections) and not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. My experience with FF stopped me picking up Zelda Tri Force Heroes. FF being a co-op game puts it towards the end of the list for me, I could only go so far solo before coming up against missions where it felt like you had to play in co-op and I'm not one for co-op games. Hunters story had the weakest story of what we'd seen at the time but I liked that it opened out the Metroid Universe more. Hunters & Federation Force I have similar problems with in that I feel they are held back by the hardware - not enough graphical power and hand-cramping controls make them difficult to play. Both excellent games just prefer 3D gameplay over 2D. Prime followed by Super at the top for me. It's actually a more enjoyable game when you just skip all the cutscenes in my opinion. The PEARSON function in Excel is a versatile and powerful tool that can help you understand the relationship between two variables. If there are outliers in the data, they can significantly affect the result of the PEARSON function.ĭespite these limitations, the PEARSON function remains a valuable tool in statistical analysis due to its simplicity and wide range of applications. An outlier is a data point that is significantly different from the other data points. This means that it might not accurately represent the relationship between two variables if the relationship is not linear.Īnother limitation is that the PEARSON function is sensitive to outliers. One of the main limitations is that it only measures linear correlations. While the PEARSON function is a powerful tool, it is not without its limitations. This could provide valuable insights for policy making. For example, a researcher might use the PEARSON function to study the correlation between education level and income. In social sciences, the PEARSON function is used to understand the relationship between different variables. If the correlation is high, the manager might decide to diversify the portfolio to reduce risk. For example, a portfolio manager might use the PEARSON function to calculate the correlation between the returns of two stocks. In finance, it is used to understand the correlation between different financial instruments. The PEARSON function is widely used in various fields for different purposes. This means that as the X values increase, the Y values decrease at a consistent rate. ![]() The result of this function would be -1, indicating a perfect negative correlation. To find the correlation coefficient, we would use the PEARSON function as follows: =PEARSON(A2:A6, B2:B6), where A2:A6 represents the X values and B2:B6 represents the Y values.
